As part of the Planet Group of Companies, Planet Paper is a fully controlled and integrated corrugated manufacturer and distributor, combining corrugated production with in-house lamination on BOBST equipment capable of producing large-format sheets up to 64″ x 70″, across B, C, E, F, and N flute. That combination of scale, flute range, and precision registration gives our customers the capacity and consistency to run large-format programs with confidence.
What the Asitrade Line Actually Does
BOBST’s Asitrade technology provides in-line laminating, the process of bonding a printed liner (or kraft material) to a corrugated substrate in a single continuous pass, rather than as two separate production steps. Our production includes laminated single face and double face corrugated solutions, along with corrugated rolls, all produced with precision alignment.
For our customers, that translates into three concrete advantages:
- Front-to-back registration accuracy across every flute we run.
- Lower glue consumption and reduced wash-boarding, which means flatter, more dimensionally stable board
- Shorter makeready and faster job changeovers, which keeps large or repeat programs moving on schedule.
